Steinman Transportation was started in the late 1940’s. Steinman grew to be a specialized carrier in furniture. In 1979 we successfully added appliances to our specialized services and have had the pleasure of serving the top manufacturers since then.
We still pride ourselves today in serving this specialized niche of furniture, bedding and appliances. Over the years we have expanded our services to include shipping clean commodities. i.e. Kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces. In 1998 we became an employee owned company. Each of our employees has a stake in the company and therefore has a vested interest in providing exceptional service. Many of our employees have over 20 years of service.
We take the extra time to understand the customers’ needs and focus on providing the best service to our clients. We build strong working relationships with our customers, many of whom have been with us for over 30 years.
Our head office is in Toronto, we have a second terminal in Hanover and switching yards in Napanee, Cambridge, and London.
